
Hickson maintained until his death that he had been abducted and probed by extraterrestrials in 1973.He had been fishing on a pier with Calvin Parker Jr. near Pascagoula, Mississippi when the men encountered a cigar-shaped UFO with blue lights that appeared above them. The abduction experience that happened next has been the topicof much controversy and ridicule, with the men being reportedly taken aboard the craft and examined before being let go.
Charles Hickson, the Mississippi man who claimed he was abducted and probed by aliens while he was fishing with a friend in 1973 and never backed off the story despite the ridicule he endured, has died.
