It should be emphasized that there are many people who perceive this only as a hypothesis. A computer analysis is not convincing to everyone. It is surprising, but the Moon’s past recreated by computer coincides with a lot of facts that were written in ancient sources. It stands to reason that coincidences are rarely incidental.

As it turns out, a lot of myths, legends, and tales say that there used to be no Moon in the sky. The Moon appeared after the Great Flood. This was noticed by the people who lived in the south of Greece, as well as by African tribes and others. However, there were a lot of ebb and flow traces found in many ancient cities. As is well known, it's is the Moon that causes ebbs and flows. This does not coincide with the no-Moon theory before the Flood. However, if there was no Moon, then maybe there was another celestial body to fulfil its functions? Other sources say that there used to be two or even several moons shining in the sky. It is not ruled out that those other Earth satellites were “in charge” of ebbs and flows. The people from the Mayan civilization left reports, in which they said that it was not the Moon, but Venus shining above them in the sky at night. Maybe, Venus was absolutely different back in those years? There was an ancient Roman historian who believed that the Great Flood was caused by the change of Venus’ color, size, shape, and orbit. Many myths and legends say that the Moon rose in the sky after the after-Flood darkness cleared up. Did the Moon cause the Flood?

Some scientists believe that the Moon was not always the Earth’s satellite. German astronomer Gesterkorn thinks that the Moon’s age is approximately equal to one half of the Earth’s age. In his opinion, after the Moon was created, it orbited far away from the Earth. A space object flew near the Moon, which caused the moon to change its orbit. The Moon moved closer to the Earth and became “imprisoned” by the Earth’s gravity. Then, the Moon became the master of Earth’s waters. The Moon’s approach resulted in immense tides, volcano eruptions, and earthquakes. Waves were the height of mountains, volcanoes were erupting, and water was boiling. Probably, the new satellite was the reason for the Great Flood.

There are many other theories to explain from where the Moon actually came. One of them even says that the Moon was created by aliens. According to this theory, its a place where aliens have their bases, space centers, and so on. Some people think that the Moon is a giant UFO, which has been disguised as a cold planet. The danger meteorites has become rather topical nowadays. There are movies, articles, research works, and news reports about the Earth’s possible collision with a meteorite. Meteorites are small in comparison with planets, but there can be hundreds of such meteorites or a couple of very large ones. They could be enough to destroy life on our planet. It is logical to suppose that small celestial bodies are fragments of larger ones. Therefore, it is possible that meteorites might be parts of other planets. Scientist Anatoly Chernyaeyv believes that this is exactly what happened with the Tunguska meteorite. According to his theory, a vast part of the Earth tore itself away from the planet and went upwards. It was unable to travel far away from the Earth and fell down on the planet again. It is not possible to prove such a theory, of course. If there were people who saw it, they died long ago. In this connection, the Moon might be a piece of the Earth, and it did not manage to break away from the Earth’s gravity...

Did Earths moon form around Mercury ?

A controversial new theory has been proposed suggesting that our moon didn"t form around the Earth but instead formed in orbit around Mercury and later migrated out until it was caught by Earth"sgravity and roped in to orbit."The moon may have been adopted by our planetinstead of descended from it. . If a new twist on a decades-old theory is right, conditions in the early solar system suggest the moon formed inside Mercury"s or...

Neil Armstrong speaks out about moonwalk

Neil Armstrong has offered new details about the distance he travelled on the moon.On Apollo 11"s visit to the moon Armstrong and Aldrin were limited in how far they could go due to uncertainties about how long the water-cooling system on their spacesuits would last and because they wererequired to perform experiments in front of a fixed camera. Apollo 11 astronaut NeilArmstrong may be notoriously private, but the first man on the moon recently reached out to a reporter to share s...

Armstrongs poetic slip on Moon

A linguistic analysis has confirmed that Neil Armstrong did miss out the "a" in his "one small step for man" speech when he first set foot on the Moon in 1969, it is thought he missed out the letter due to the pressure of the trip."NeilArmstrong missed out an "a" and did not say "one small step for a man" when he set foot on the Moon in 1969, a linguistic analysis has confirmed." Much more water found in lunar rocks

A new study of rocks returned by the Apollo missions has revealed that the moon has far more water on it than thought.Scientists found 100 times more water existed within the moon"s minerals than was previously believed and that there could be enough water on the moon to fill the Great Lakes two-and-a-halftimes over. The Moon might be much wetter than previously thought, a groupof scientists has said. . A US-led team analysed the mineral apatite in lunar rocks picked up by the Apollo s...

Tunnels on Moon can habitate humans

India"s Chandrayaan-1 has found tunnels below the surface of the Moon that could one day be a home to humans.Indian space officials have said that the tunnels are thought to have been formed by lava and could offer the perfect shelter for humans in the futurelooking to live on the Moon. India"s Chandrayaan-1 mission has identified tunnels below the surface of theMoon, a top space scientist said on Wednesday and maintained that human habitation could be possible in those "tubes" in the...

Moon too dry to have life, say scientists

Scientists believe that despite water being found on the moon it is still too dry to have ever supported life.A lack of hydrogen in the magma oceans during the moon"s formation would have meant very little water, far too little to support life. Contrary to recent reports aboutwater content in lunar rocks, the Moon may be quite dry, say scientists. Astudy by US researchers, published in Science, analysed chlorine isotopes of the much-studied samples, brought to Earth by the Apollo space...

Space Adventures offer flights to the Moon

US company plans to offer space flight tours including a breathtaking trip around the moon. For $150 million per person, per trip, one US company has partnered with the Russian Federal Space Agency to take peopleup into space. Fifty yearsafter the first American astronaut rocketed into space, one comme...

Will Super Moon cause widespread disaster ?

Richard Nolle claims that on the moon"s closest approach on March 19th chaos will ensue.Referring to the event as an "extreme supermoon" Nolle believes that the event will generate a series of natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic erruptions and huge storms. While it sounds far-fetched scientists have been studying thepossibilities of similar scenarios for decades. On March 19, the moon will swing around Earth more closely than ithas in the past 18 years, lighting up the...

Russia to send men to the Moon ?

A leaked document suggests Russia is planning on embarking on a manned mission to the Moon. The document details plans to "conduct a demonstrative manned circumlunar test flight with the subsequent landing of cosmonauts on [the Moon’s] surface and their return to Earth" with a deadline of 2030. In the early days of the original space race, Russia look set to beat the US to the Moonwhen it became the first nation to put a man in space and to launch a satellite. Now, several decades on, ...
