A book on the Johor Bigfoot, said to include exclusive photographs of the elusive creature, has caused a stir among cryptozoologists around the world. The book authored by local writers and researchers, including the man in the thick of Bigfoot research in Johor, Vincent Chow, is set to be released in the next few months.Chow said yesterday he had seen the Bigfoot photographs, which belonged to an individual.He added the individual wished to remain anonymous for the time being."The owner of the photographs has only agreed to allow them to be used in our book."All I can say is that the photographs are convincing and all visible signs point towards the possibility that the Johor Bigfootcould be a variant of the Homo erectus species of hominids (creature resembling humans), thought to have gone extinct some 50,000 years ago or that it is an unknown hominid."Loren Coleman, a leading cryptozoologists, in his website Cryptomundo.com, open- ed a discussion on Thursday on the new book and received a flood of comments from the international community of cryptozoologists and Bigfoot enthusiasts.Coleman, who has authored several books on the Bigfoot subject, said Chow’s revelation that the photographs showed the creature’s genitalia, could be proof of the creature’s sexual dimorphism."When Vincent Chow’s book shows the Bigfoot photographs, I will shout a hearty ‘congratulations’ to him."Yes, as he says, many will have the last laugh on this one.

I will be especially happy for all the(Bigfoot) eyewitnesses who have had to tolerate ridicule merely for reporting what they saw."Coleman said the reality of a living fossil existing, such as Homo erectus, would be earth-shattering. "If Chow’s findings pan out, look for some revolutionary new thoughts within anthropology, palaeoanthropology, hominology and cryptozoology. As Chow has told me, what he is talking about are ‘photographs of the real McCoys’. "I am happy to announce I will be one of the contributors to his book."

Bigfoot researchers affiliated with Tom Biscardi have been investigating footprints found in Burke County.Researcher Robert Price has said that the footprints show signs of dermal ridges like a handprint which would mean that the foot would be able to bend unlike the feet of a human.Investigations in to the prints continue.

A team of researchers affiliated with legendary ‘Bigfoot Hunter’ Tom Biscardi traveled from Alabama to Hickory, N. C. Sunday to investigate recent footprint sightings.

Dave Collier has never come face to face with a Bigfoot, but he’s talked to plenty of people who have. “I believe that sightings and encounters are more common than most people believe,” he says. “And what surprised me the most when I started this was how many there were in this area.” By this area, the Martinez resident doesn’t mean the Southeast, and he’s not just talking Georgia.

Collier means right here in the CSRA. Working for a public utility, Collier is perfectly positioned to be a Bigfoot researcher. He’s out among the public all day, often in rural locations, he deals with people in a relatively relaxed setting, and he deals with a lot of them. Though he’s consumed by the Bigfoot question — does it exist and if it does, how has it managed to remain so elusive for all these years — he doesn’t come right out and ask people if they’ve ever seen Bigfoot. That kind of directness would just shut them down.

Cleveland County resident Tim Peeler has reported an encounter with Bigfoot on his rural property.The creature was described as 10 feet tall with a long beard and yellowish-blonde hair, he was alerted to its presence outside his home when he heard grunting and screeching sounds. The police are treating it as a "suspicious person report". He was 10 feet tall, with a long beardand yellowish-blond hair, Tim Peeler says.

And in the early-morning hours of June 5, Peeler told authorities, the creature – a Cleveland County version of Bigfoot – wandered onto Peeler’s property in the rural northwest part of the county. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office has filed the case as a “suspicious person report” but says it is keeping an open mind.
