How to use this ancient Chinese divination tool to glimpse the future--and to
better understand where you are right now.
Who wouldn't like to know what tomorrow holds? Every ancient culture, it seems,
has devised methods to foretell the future. Europeans had their tarot cards,
Native Americans had their cowrie shells, Japanese looked into tea leaves and
the Chinese depended on the I Ching or the Book of Changes.
I was exposed to The I Ching as a young girl
and remember being shocked by the accuracy of the answers. My question had to do
with a boy I was attracted to. Would he ever like me back, I asked? After
throwing a die, I was referred to a certain page which offered an answer, albeit
a cryptic one: Wherever the sister goes, the brother follows. It was true. I
befriended the boy's sister and soon enough, he became my boyfriend. I have been
a fan of the I Ching ever since.
Written over 5000 years ago by a Chinese sage
named Fu Hsi, the I Ching is based on eight trigrams, which look like three rows
of three lines
(---) one below the other, each of which means a different thing. Fu Hsi
developed these trigrams based on his observation of nature and the correlations
between different parts of the universe?heaven and earth, fire and water, wood
and metal, yin and yang, creation and destruction. And therein lies the first
lesson of the I Ching: Everything is interconnected.
What the King James Code is NOT:
The King James Code does not have anything to do
with equidistant letter sequences. Much debate centers around ELS because of its
controversial, and sometimes rather subjective nature. Some feel that, even
though, there may well be letter sequences in the Hebrew scriptures, there
meanings and interpretations are most often obscure. The King James Code is not
a private, secret language that only the elect are going to be able to
interpret. It does not necessarily require sophisticated computers and software
in order to discover the codes, however, a computer search is much easier and
less time consuming than a typical concordance search.
What is the King James Code?:
If I had to describe the King James Code in a
nutshell, I would do it this way. The King James Bible contains a system of
numbers that are consistently linked with words or phrases in the scriptures. It
is understood that the Bible can be comprehended on many levels. The more you
study the Scriptures and become accustomed to them, the more you understand the
Divine symbols of certain passages that you never saw before. These must always
come as a product of Divine Revelation. Certain words and phrases take on a
whole new meaning, never contradictory to any other passage in the Scriptures.
As you study, you begin to see also that numbers seem to have a certain
relevance in the Bible. Each number will have its own symbolic meaning. Things
associated with completion or perfection will be linked with the number 7.
Things associated with the sinfulness of man will be associated with the number
6, and so on. What I have discovered, or rather, what the Lord has
revealed, is that word and phrase occurrences in the King James Bible follow
this same pattern. If a word or a phrase is added or omitted, this ruins the
pattern. Could it be that this is why God commanded us not to add or take away
from His Word? (Deut. 4:2, Rev. 22:18,19) An example of how this works is found
in the phrase "Holy Spirit". This phrase is found exactly 7 times in the
King James Bible...

The Number Twelve:
Although I am very aware of the importance the
number 12 plays in the scriptures, I do not have as yet very much to
report as far as the codes are concerned. Remember, all of this information that
you see before you, has been the process of revelation, and not education. The
Lord would tap me on the shoulder and tell me what to look for. I do, however,
have a few, very important codes to share that involve the number 12. God
established the pattern of 12 in the Old Testament, when He gave Father
Israel 12 sons. It was through them and their respective tribes that the
whole Nation of Israel was formed. In the New Testament, God re-established this
pattern by appointing 12 Apostles. It is on their foundation (Eph. 2:20,
Rev. 21:14), Christ being the Chief Cornerstone, that the Gentile Church is
built. As the 12 tribes were intended to be 1 nation, we are
expected to be 1 body. No divisions, no schisms, just 1 body. The
codes spell that out very clearly. In Acts, we are told this about the beginning
of the Church age.
(Acts 1:14) "These all
continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and
Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren." It did not surprise me one bit
to find that this phrase "one accord" is found exactly 12 times in
the New Testament. It is only found once in the Old Testament, and carries the
same theme. I will reserve comment on this subject. Go to your King James Bible,
study the use of this phrase, and let God do the talking! The number 12
is understood clearly from the scriptures to be a number that is associated with
the Church, both of the Old Testament, and of the New. Those who are in the New
Testament Church are those whom God has quickened, or brought back to life and
given a new beginning in His Kingdom. This gives them the association both with
the number 12 and with the number 8. They are called the "saints".
They are called saints exactly 96 (12x8) times in the
scriptures...

Jim Wickson: Tarot (also known as Tarock, Tarokk, Taroky, Taroc, Tarok, Tarocchi and similar names) is a family of trick taking card games played with an enlarged deck of 78 cards which include an extra court card for each of the four regular suits, a permanent trump suit of 21 cards, and a kind of "wild card" called "the Fool" or "Excuse." Although seen primarily by many as a means of fortune telling or divination, the Tarot deck was created in northern Italy during the 15th century for playing... Read More
Paranormal investigators at a 15th century castle want volunteers to help them 'interview' resident ghosts. Bodelwyddan Castle in Denbighshire is said to have a number of spooks who make their presence known. But as castle records were destroyed by fire in the 1920s, no-one knows if the spirits are from a former school in the grounds or a wartime military hospital. Paranormal investigation team member Laura Whitley said: "We use various divination methods, like an interview." S... Read More
Shamanism, humankind's oldest spiritual and healing tradition, is in many cultures dominated by men, and Western skeptics often debunk its effectiveness. In a groundbreaking new book published last month by Random House, however, Barbara Tedlock, professor of anthropology, challenges the historical hegemony of the male shamanic tradition, restores women to their essential place in the history of spirituality and celebrates their continuing role in the worldwide resurgence of shamanism.Tedloc... Spiritually speaking, have we really come a long way to get to where modern society is today, or could it be argued that in many respects we are still as primitive as our ancestors? It does seem that over the ages, society, government and religion have done everything they can to control people so that most of us accept certain belief systems as the only answer to our questions. What would our world be like today if these organisations did not exercise the rigid control over our spiritual journe... Read More
Everyone dreams, but can God communicate with people through dreams? Can the dead communicate with the living? Bible passages answer the first question with a yes. Both Joseph the Patriarch and Joseph, husband of Mary, had the will of God made known to them through dreams. Job 33:14-16 also says that God can speak to people in dreams. "If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision and will speak unto him in a dream," says Numbers 12:6... Read More
A WELSH university is carrying out research into one of the world's most enduring mysteries - the star of Bethlehem. Martin Griffiths, from the University of Glamorgan, is fascinated by the Biblical story which led the mysterious Magi from the East to the infant Christ. Rather than dismissing the story as pure mythology, he thinks that it is likely something extraordinary did appear in the night sky 2,000 years ago. The bright light, he speculates, may not have been an actual star... Read More
