The Lithuanian Roman Catholic Church has accused the country's new president of making a pact with the Devil after he brought an astrologer into his inner circle to advise him on how to run the Baltic republic.Rolandas Paksas, a former stunt pilot, was swornin as president last month.
Since then, Lena Lolishvili, a Georgian who claims to be able to see the future and cure illnesses with her psychic powers, has caused outrage as her influence over government has spread.
