
A New Zealand man suffered a rather unfortunate injury after falling on to a compressed air fitting.The truck driver fell backwards with some force on to the fitting which pierced his buttock and started forcing air in through the wound at 100 pounds per square inch. Unable to move the man had no choice but to lie there as his body became increasingly inflated likea balloon.
Luckily his workmates nearby heard his screams and came to help him, he suffered moderate injuries but lived to see another day. A New Zealand truck driver has said he blew up like a balloon when he fell onto the fitting of a compressed air hose that pierced his buttock and forced air into his body at 100 pounds a square inch.
