A Canadian man has spent the last 15 years digging out his basement using model construction vehicles. An average of 8-9 cubic yards are moved each year through the use of a miniature digger, tractor and rock crusher, which is then brought outside and consolidated into piles. The homeowner, Joe, startedthe project after a severe rainstorm caused a partial cave-in beneath one corner of his home.
The remote-control vehicles were acquired over time and kept winter boredom at bay as he continued to work on the hole beneath his home. Yes, you read that right — he"s been digging out his basement for 15 years — with nothingbut little R/C tractors, diggers and even a miniature rock crusher! Amazing.
