
A 24-year-old Indian man is in the record books for having 12 fingers and 14 toes due to a rare medical ailment.While his extra digits do have their own bones he is unable to feel or use them properly because they don"t have nerve endings. The rare condition "polydactlyism"responsible for this peculiar abnormality comes from the Greek for "many fingers".
An Indian man is proud of the 12 fingers and 14 toes which have put him in the record books. Rather than feel self conscious about the way he was born, Haramb Ashok Kumthekar has always celebrated his extra digits.
