NASA to crash into the Moon at 6,000mph

Two new space probes are currently on their way to the Moon, NASA"s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter will spend the next few years mapping the surface while the second will go on a kamikaze decent in to the lunar surface in October."Two robotic probes were speeding towards the Moon at 8,000mph last night on a mission that will help to earmark future human camp sites, as hearings got under way in Washington that could shake up Nasa’s plans for returning Man to the lunar surface."
