An intrepid pack of paranormal hunters have launched their own creepy investigations into a North-east library. And the brave band discovered ghostly whispers, unexplained footsteps and the eerie clanging of a bell. The East of Scotland Paranormal Society is a group supernatural enthusiasts out toresearch every aspect of the spirit world.Rachael Hayward, who heads the team, had an unexplained, paranormal encounter at an early age.
Now the 19-year-old management student, along with other members of the city group, visits historic buildings in the North-east to investigate ghostly goings-on.The latest night-time visit was to Aberdeen Central Library. It was the second time the group had braved the building in the middle of the night. And they encountered some unexplained phenomenon. Team member Kieran reported hearing footsteps while documenting footage away from the rest of the group ... they were not picked up by thesound recording equipment. And while reviewing the footage at a later date, a whisper was recorded as Kieran stepped away from the rest of the group. Another member of the group heard the sound of a bell in the children’s room. While in the reference library, another abnormal occurrence took place – some of the equipment used by the team was drained of battery very quickly. The team hold investigations throughout the year.
