
Crowds have turned up in Switzerland to witness the infamous "corpse flower" blooming for the first time.One of the plant"s most distinctive features is its strong smell of rotting flesh, a feature aimed at attracting flies. It is the first time this particular 17-year-old plant has bloomed and the flower willonly last a few days before wilting.
