
Russia have returned to the ISS with a manned Soyuz launch from Kazakhstan carrying three astronauts.It is the first manned space flight attempted by Russia since a similar Soyuz craft crashed back in August. After an impressive launch the astronauts gave the thumbs-up and reportedthat everything had gone to plan.
"We don"t have any black thoughts. We have faith in our equipment," said astronaut Anton Shkaplerov. A Russian spacecraft carrying three astronauts - two Russians and one American - has launched successfully from Kazakhstan.
