A previously unreleased film of President John F Kennedy's motorcade has revealed new details of the final moments before his assassination. The silent film shows the president and his wife Jackie shortly before the fatal shot was fired. Amateur photographer George Jefferies held onto the film for more than 40 years believing it was unimportant. But Dallas museum curator Gary Mack says it is bound to provide new fuel to the conspiracy theorists. The film shows the president's coatbunched up on his back - a detail some will see as evidence that the bullet wounds on the president's body did not match those on his jacket.

The film also shows "the clearest, best film of Jackie in the motorcade", says Mr Mack. Also visible is secret service agent Clint Hill, riding on the back of the car. After the shots were fired, Mr Hill jumped onto the back of the vehicle and drove with it to the hospital. The new film only came to light when Mr Jefferies mentioned it in conversation to his son-in-law, Wayne Graham, who persuaded him to donate it to themuseum. Mr Mack said: "Everyone who captured the motorcade before the assassination thinks their pictures are unimportant. But to historians, all photos and home movies are important to possibly answer questions that will be asked in the future. "I've already seen the footage on a conspiracy web site." Recently discovered CIA documents have suggested possible LSD testing on a French town in 1951.Residents of the town had suffered from sudden and severe hallucinations that had originally been attributed to contaminated bread however new research in to the incident has revealed that it is possible that LSD wasdeliberately put in the bread as part of a field test.

Nearly 60 years ago, a French town was hit by a sudden outbreak of hallucinations, which left five people dead and many seriously ill. For years it was blamed on bread contaminated with a psychedelic fungus - but that theory is now being challenged.

Legal experts have expressed concerns over brain scanning devices being used to invade people"s privacy.Brain scans are already being used to scan death row inmates and there are plans to use them in the UK by police to determine if a suspect is lying. The concern now is that as the technology develops there isthe potential for it to be exploited and misused.

The use of brain scanners must be regulated in order to prevent them being used to invade privacy and threaten civil liberties, a legal expert has warned.

Veteran UFO investigator Stanton Friedman has echoed his views that we are in the midst of a cosmic Watergate.Friedman is one of the most respected researchers in the field and worked for 14 years as a nuclear physicist on several highly classified projects. "Some UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft, and this is thebiggest story of the millennium," he says.

"After 53 years of investigation, I"m convinced we"re dealing here with a cosmic Watergate," he told AOL News. "That means a few people within major governments have known since at least 1947 that some UFOs are alien spacecraft. "
