More than 50 people have camped at Russia"s Lake Baikai to search for evidence of alien visitors. The meet-up is part of the "Trans-Eurasian UFO-Search expedition" which aims to watch the skies for UFOs. This particular location next to Russia"s deepest lake was picked due to sightings of objects in the area by locals."Here, in 1958 there was an TU-154 airplane crash," explained VladimirKuznetsov, one of the visitors attending the event.
"There were some reports from the locals that a UFO pursued the air craft till it reached Baikal waters right here. And there were frequent reports of UFO activity around Baikal. So this is the reason why we decided to meet here. I hope that we will be lucky enough to shoot something interesting." Sightings of a disc-shaped object hovering over the Olympic stadium have been circulating the internet.Nick Pope predicted just weeks before the Olympics that the opening ceremony would be the prime time and place for an extraterrestrial race to present themselves to the world. Sightings of unidentified flying objects hit close to an all time high in Canada last year.A new report released on Tuesday indicated 986 sightings across Canada in 2011, Ontario saw the most sightings with 406 reports. Specific cases range from a grey, disc-shaped object south of Winnipeg to a "grapefruit" shaped object witnessed in Ontario. Skywatchers are reporting strange unidentified flying objects that only show up using infrared.Night vision cameras have been employed in an effort to catch and record these enigmatic objects. One group in Texas known as the Laredo Paranormal Research Society has succeeded in capturing a triangular shaped craft flying overhead with three evenly spaced glowing orbs underneath it. Group founder Ismael Cuellar has claimed that the object was invisible to the naked eye and that theteam have ruled out all conventional explanations."[We] have ruled out birds, bugs, airplanes, helicopters, and even flying drones by comparing them side by side as a point of reference," he said.
Geoscientist Ben McGee, lead field researcher on the National Geographic series "Chasing UFOs" however is unconvinced, he believes that the object is actually a border patrol drone with infrared anti-collision lights. You might have thought a defining characteristic of a UFO would be visibility. But thanks to zealous alienhunters doggedly scanning the sky with night-vision cameras, a new class of flying objects that only emit infrared light has emerged from the darkness. Are they spies from the great beyond?
