One man has decided to record himself reciting the world"s longest word at 189,819 letters long. The ridiculously long word is unsurprisingly the longest in any language and takes over 3 hours to pronounce. It"s the chemical name for titin, the largest known polypeptide in the human body. While an undoubtedly extensive recitation, some Lexicographers have contested whether, being the name of a chemical, the term is actuallya word at all.

The longest regular word to appear in the dictionary is "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" at 45 letters in length. This hasn"t stopped Russian Dmitry Golubovskiy from sitting down at a desk and reading the entire 189,819 letter behemoth. Some would argue that the video is more useful as a cure for insomnia than it is as an educational exercise. The English word has 189,819 letters and takes more than 3. 5 hours to pronounce. This video isso boring it makes waiting in line at to renew your driver"s license seem exciting.

Scientists believe that daydreaming could be the key to helping us solve complex problems. While many people would tend to find themselves chastised if caught daydreaming at work, studies have shown that coming away from a demanding problem and daydreaming while performing a much simpler task can significantly boost your ability to solve the original problem. Researchers also found that taking a break and performinga different complex task doesn"t reap the same benefits.Daydreaming has often been attributed to some of the greatest breakthroughs in science.

Well known thinkers such as Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton were believed to have come up with some of their most significant discoveries and ideas while allowing their minds to wander. The research, published in the journal Psychological Science, is likely to please school pupils and bored office workers who enjoygazing out of the window but may not go down less well with teachers and bosses.

Scientists have discovered some unusual features within the brain of the late Albert Einstein.Einstein is often considered to be one of the greatest scientists that ever lived, his remarkable intellect and accomplishments in physics continue to resonate on in to the 21st century. When he died in 1955, his brain was removed for examination in an effort to determine if there was anything about it that might accountfor his genius.

Now over 55 years on, scientists are once again seeking clues to his intellect via a series of recently discovered anatomical photographs."Portions of Einstein’s brain have been found to be unlike those of most people and could be related to his extraordinary cognitive abilities," wrote anthropologist Dean Falk. "What is unusual is the complexity and convolution in the various parts of the brain." Called the "embodiment of pure intellect,"Albert Einstein has long been considered one of the most brilliant men who ever lived.

Japanese researchers have claimed that praise is as good as money at making people work harder. It"s something that has been debated amongst scientists and parents alike for years, can giving too much praise to our children have a negative effect overall or does it really help spur effort and creativity ? Do we prefer to hear the straight truth about something we"ve done or do we function better when the reality is sugar coated to makeus feel better ?Researchers lead by Professor Sadato at the National Institute for Physiological Sciences have been attempting to investigate using a group of 48 volunteers.

"There seems to be scientific validity behind the message "praise to encourage improvement"," he said. "Complimenting someone could become an easy and effective strategy to use in the classroom." A team of Japanese researchers at the National Institute for Physiological Sciences has discovered that the morea person is complimented the more the striatum part of their brain is stimulated, and the better they perform a task.
