
Konstantine Myakush was enjoying a family outing when an arrow came flying at him and pierced his neck.The father-of-two couldn"t believe what was happening when the arrow, thought to have been misfired by someone at a local archery club, came whizzing towards him during a day out in Russia. Miraculously, despite going right through his neck the arrow managed to miss all hismajor arteries by less than an inch.Myakush remained conscious throughout his ordeal and even phoned his wife to tell her what was happening while he still had the arrow sticking out of his neck.
An ambulance soon arrived and doctors were able to extract the arrow without further injury. Konstantine Myakush, 38, was on a family outing with his two daughters near a sports centre in Moscow when he was struck by the stray20-inch-long arrow.

A 67-year-old woman who was presumed dead stunned family members when she woke up a few days later.Mama Victoria Gbemisola Babatunde from Nigeria would have been buried the very next day had nationwide strikes against the removal of fuel subsidies not prevented some members of her family from meeting up to arrange her burial. But this is the story of Mama Victoria Gbemisola Babatunde (née Bolarinwa) who was certified dead on January 7, this year but is now back to life, hale and hearty.

Olivia Norton stunned doctors by surviving after being born with almost no haemoglobin at all.Baby Olivia was white as a sheet when she arrived with a condition so rare that her name will be added to medical journals. Doctors had given her only two hours to live, but thanks to a rapid response and emergancy transfusions she slowly turned a healthy pink colour andwas soon on the mend.
"Olivia was my first baby, so I didn"t really know what to expect - but I certainly didn"t think she"d be that colour," said her mother. Oliva, now six months, was born completely white because she had such a low count of haemoglobin - the chemical which carries oxygen in red blood cells - that it could not officially be classed as "blood".

Huug Bosse has been unable to stop laughing after undergoing a hip operation two years ago.His long suffering wife has found his non-stop hysterics less than amusing. "It appears that due to the operation, due to the anaesthesia, he was laughing more," she said. "Sometimes it starts to get really annoying all that laughing the whole day. When you are having a discussion and all he does is laughing, then it gets annoying." ) A Dutch man who underwent hip surgery two years ago has appeared in a TV interview claiming he has not been able to stop laughing ever since. According to Huug Bosse"s wife, her husband now spends his days laughing at everyone and everything and itall started when he had a hip replaced under anaesthesia in 2010.
