Big foot \ Yeti

Footage has surfaced of a large dark figure filmed in woodland by students on a school project.The students were on a field trip in Franklin County when they reported seeing a dark figure watching them from a nearby ridge. "It just didn’t look human like," said one of the group. "I don’t know what that is, it’s not a bear, it’s not a moose or anything. Itwas big and bulky and black."Fortunately someone had brought a camera along and was able to record footage of the incident, the students also climbed up on the ridge and photographed large footprints at the same location.

What appears to be a large dark figure disappearing into the brush and trees on a hillside near the West Fork of Mink Creek was captured on a brief video clip made by Pocatellostudents recently.

The four-man "Finding Bigfoot" team believe they have captured audio of a bigfoot in Australia.The team had conducted an expedition in the forests of Queensland and New South Wales in search of the elusive bipedal hominid that is known locally as the "yowie". BFRO researcher James Fay contends that audio recordings captured during their travels in the region are some of the most compelling yet but that itwill be necessary to wait until the episode airs before the evidence can be revealed."We got some really compelling audio," he said.

"It is not a known species, I can tell you that. One of the details (convinces us) there is nothing else it could have been." The four-member team from Animal Planet"s Finding Bigfoot series were on an expedition through remote forests spanning the Queensland and NSW border when they made the recordings.

A team of researchers plan to conduct a systematic investigation of alleged Bigfoot and Yeti remains.The project will make use of cutting edge DNA analysis technology to examine the origins of hairs, bone fragments and other items kept in a collection of alleged Bigfoot evidence at the Lausanne museum. "There have been DNA tests done on alleged yetis and other such things but since then the testing techniques, particularly on hair, haveimproved a lot due to advances in forensic science," said Oxford University"s Prof Bryan Sykes.Sightings of strange ape-like creatures have been reported in various parts of the world from the United States to the Himalayas and even Australia.

"It"s an area that any serious academic ventures into with a deal of trepidation... It"s full of eccentric and downright misleading reports," he said. A UK-Swiss team will use DNA testing to investigate the origins of remains claimed to be fromyeti and bigfoot. The project will examine hair, bone and other material from a collection amassed by a Swiss biologist - and will invite submissions from elsewhere.

Opinion poll results suggest that 30 percent of Americans believe that Bigfoot is "probably" real.Sightings of the elusive hominid continue to be reported across the United States with the highest concentration of encounters taking place in the western coastal states. The poll results also suggest that menare more likely to believe than women and that Democrats are more likely to believe than Republicans.

The big hairy monster we call Bigfoot has both eluded and fascinated many, with blurry photos and even blurrier video being some of the best evidence the creature exists.
