An american woman who levitated, demonstrated paranormal psychic powers and spoke foreign languages unknown to her was clearly demon possessed, according to a board-certified psychiatrist and associate professor of clinical psychiatry at New York Medical College. The unnamed woman, with a long history of involvement with Satanic groups, was observed by a team of priests, deacons, several lay assistants, psychiatrists, nuns, some of whom also had medical and psychiatrictraining, levitating six inches off the ground while objects flew off shelves in the same room, according to Dr.

Richard E. Gallagher, who documented the case in the February issue of the New Oxford Review. "Periodically, in our presence, Julia would go into a trance state of a recurring nature," writes Gallagher. "Mentally troubled individuals often "dissociate," but Julia"s trances were accompanied by an unusual phenomenon: Out of her mouth would come various threats, taunts and scatological language, phrases like "Leave her alone, you idiot," "She"s ours," "Leave, you imbecilepriest," or just "Leave." The tone of this voice differed markedly from Julia"s own, and it varied, sometimes sounding guttural and vaguely masculine, at other points high pitched. Most of her comments during these "trances," or at the subsequent exorcisms, displayed a marked contempt for anything religious or sacred."

To understand what a "walk-in" is one first needs to understand that our physical body is not *us*. It is the container for *us*. Similar to someone driving a car. When we see the driver we understand that they exist irrespective of whether they have a car, or not. So too with our bodies. We exist irrespective of whether we have a physical body or not. In other words we existed as a spirit (soul) before the body we now occupy was born. When our physical body dies we will continue to exist without it.

Now most people would understand that each physical body is owned by someone. This person is attached to their body (with a non physical cord) until the body dies. If nobody was attached to the body then it would die. This is one of the reasons babies are born dead. Nobody has become "attached" to the body. Without this connection the body gets no energisation from the spirit realms. Like a car without petrol or battery. It probably won't do anything. Generally then it is one body one spirit. Multiple people can inhabit the one physical form and this may be termed possession, obsession, mutiple personality disorder or whatever. However only one spirit is attached to the body. Until physical death of the body. There is however one exception to this rule. Walk-ins.

Walk-ins are people who have spiritual work to do in the material world but for various reasons don't need to/want to spend the time in a physical body growing up. Where a person has finished their life's lessons, and would normally die, in some instances they allow an incoming "walk-in" spirit to be connected to their physical body (that they are leaving behind) instead of them. We still have the case of one physical body, and one spirit attached to it, but in this situation the spirit isn't the one that was with it since birth. Naturally this can then mean that the person may seem to have a (sometimes major) personality change. This is in fact one of the ways one can tell if someone is a walk-in. They will be very much more compassionate, loving, spiritual than before.

This can of course create problems for friends, and relatives. They often cannot understand what has happened. In this situation it may be better for them to understand that the person that they previously knew is, in practical terms, no longer physically alive. It is sometimes not much easier for the walk-in. He/she inherits the memories/situations of the previous occupant of the body and may take some time to understand their true status. Walk-ins have always existed but due to the changing of the consciousness of the world at the moment a much larger number of them are incoming at the moment. The purpose of this is to help the planet move forward to a higher spiritual perspective. Instant incarnation, as an adult, is a very effective way to get a lot of people into the physical world, helping, in a very short time.

A woman in Texas was driven to leave the home she was renting due to a series of paranormal sightings of a little girl that in one session with a local investigator was claimed to be demonic in nature. "One woman says her familylived in fear.

She claims they heard voices and saw shadows in their home. The family was so scared they called a ghost hunter to find out what was going on. "My little girl would see a little girl with dark hair. A 150-year-old mystery has reared its head after a woman woke to find 'Satan's hoofprints' dotted across freshly fallen snow in her back garden. The single track of cloven-like prints - which appear to have been made by a two-legged creature - precisely resemble footprints recorded in the area in 1855.

The phenomenon, which has never been explained, became known as the 'Devil's foot prints' in a local legend. Grandmother Jill, 76, of Woolsery, Devon, said: 'I looked in the garden and it really intrigued me. 'I couldn't believe it - the footprints were in the shape of a cloven hoof. There were no other marks at all in the snow.

'I was quite surprised by it and I hadn't got a clue what it was, but I thought I would love to know.' Scientists from the Centre for Fortean Zoology inspected the prints which measure 5ins (13cm) long with a stride of between 11 and 17ins (28 and 43cm). Jonathan Downes, who runs the centre, is investigating whether the footprints could have been left by a hare or rabbits hopping on their hind legs.

He said: 'Thousands of people across the world believe in the paranormal, but so far every single thing we have looked into has turned out to have a natural explanation. I'm sure these will as well. 'Do I believe that the Devil comes from the pits of Hell to wander around the gardens of North Devon? Of course not.

'But if you're asking if there are things that can't be explained by modern science, then yes. But human knowledge is expanding all the time. 'I believe that things that are currently put down to the paranormal will one day be explained by science.'
